Come live the Mi’gmaq experience surrounded by forest and the mountains on a picturesque headland on the North shore of the Gaspé Bay to our Interpretation Site. Uncover our storied past, learn more about the contemporary challenges we face as a First Nation and witness our bright future as you hear stories of the region and Mi’gmaq culture dating back to 1675. Take a self-guided stroll or interpretive tour around the recreation of a traditional village and summer camp; join a workshop and try your hand at traditional Mi’gmaq crafts, learn to make a medicine wheel, traditional braided hand-woven cedar basket or dreamcatcher.
