Located in the transition zone between the boreal forest and the tundra, Parc National Tursujuq, the largest of Quebec’s national parks, is a crossroads of Inuit and Cree cultures. It is home to over one hundred archeological sites. Its vast network of largely unexplored lakes and rivers represents a true sanctuary for belugas. The two circular basins of Lac à l’Eau-Claire, the result of a double meteoritic impact, together form the second largest natural lake in Quebec, while adjacent to Lac Guillaume-Delisle rise the fabulous Hudsonian cuestas. The park allows camping in both summer and winter.
