Not just soap bars, but stunning works of art, Valerie Lamirande hand crafts her luxury soaps in the cold process tradition using an ancient method that allows her to choose each premium natural ingredient to suit skin care benefits and desired scents. Born and raised on Haida Gwaii, Valerie’s Haida name is Slin-ga_a_Jaad, which means “creative girl”. Proud of her Haida heritage Valerie enjoys expressing her Culture and memories through her soap designs with colour, scent and texture.

From Salish Sea Thunderbird soap scented with sacred cedarwood to mint and sweet winter berry-scented Cowichan Sweater mooncakes for the tub, Valerie takes inspiration from her heritage to create gorgeous bath and body products. Valerie also offers soap making workshops, for current schedules and more information contact her via email. Visit the store on the Island Highway in Campbell River to browse these beautiful small batch soaps, bath bombs, candles, lotions and essential body oils, or shop online.
