Since 1965, the Toonik Tyme Festival in Iqaluit celebrates the return of spring, bringing families and friends together to celebrate Inuit Culture. Each year, the Toonik Tyme Society, local organizations, businesses, and over 100 volunteers work together to provide Iqalummiut and visitors with a Cultural festival that reflect Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (Inuit Traditional knowledge). From throat singing and dancing to skijoring and igloo building, join in the fun and celebrate and share in Inuit Culture!
