A lifelong resident of the Northwest Territories, Lawrence Neyando believes Canada’s North is one of the world’s great motorcycling destinations. At Arctic Motocycle Adventures he offers several motorbike tours, ranging from one to six days in length, that allow two-wheelers to experience the wild beauty and rich culture of the place the Gwich’in and Inuvialuit people call home. Riders can see the curious pingos (intrapermafrost ice-cored hills) and wildlife, share meals with Elders, explore tundra and mountains, and even dip a toe into the Arctic Ocean at the end of the Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway.

From the spirit bears on the west coast to the caribou of the Far North, no one knows Canadian nature and wildlife quite like Indigenous Peoples do.
