Bastien Industries is a Wendat-owned moccasin manufacturing company and online store. They are renowned for their exceptional quality, innovative design, and commitment to using sustainable materials and production methods. Originally inspired by the expertise and passion Maurice Bastien had for shoemaking, Bastien Industries started in 1972 by Roland Bastien. The goal was to produce high-quality products that would share the Huron-Wendat heritage with pride.

In 2022, Bastien Industries was purchased by Jason Picard-Binet. Jason shares the same passion that Roland Bastien once had and has the goal of sharing Huron-Wendat heritage and products with the world. Today, there are more than 225 models of moccasins that are all hand laced and beaded at their Wendake-based business and they produce more that 45,000 pairs annually.
