For more than 20 years, Mer et Monde Écotours has offered guided sea kayaking tours for visitors to discover the unique marine environment of the St. Lawrence Estuary, along with a range of accommodations to relax and immerse in nature. From first-time paddlers to expert kayakers, join our knowledgeable team of guides to explore the waters in the world’s best place to watch whales. On a day-long tour with a healthy lunch on a small beach in Les Escoumins, see blue, fin and minke whales, belugas, seals, marine birds and much more. Watch the sunrise on an early risers’ tour and watch the marine world wake as the waters reflect the glowing colours of the dawn on the St Lawrence. Beginner paddlers can gain confidence in the sheltered waters of the Saguenay Fjord near Tadoussac with our patient guides whilst admiring the steep escarpments of the Saguenay Fjord and spotting belugas and minke whales feeding. Marvel at the shimmering phenomenon of bioluminescence and listen to whale song with a hydrophone. Join us to learn the basic techniques of SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and enjoy paddling out on calm waters. Sleep soundly in your own tent at the Anse à la Cave campground; enjoy a spot of luxury in one of our four safari tents with a view over the St Lawrence or stay in one of our cozy rustic shelters with gas fireplaces and solar powered electricity. Wonderful views and the chance to watch whales all inclusive!
